What are Essential Oils? 

Essential Oils are distilled from plants. They help the plant fight off infection, grow, and thrive. Oddly enough these compounds can have beneficial effects in our body, similar to what they do in the plant. The power of an essential oil lies in its constituents & their synergy. No two oils are alike.  

How do they work?

Essential oils work in your body via frequency levels. They increase the frequencies of your cells at the cellular level, making the body function better. Oils are known for their balancing properties. 

Three different ways

1. Aromatically - through a diffuser. As you inhale the essential oils they are taken up by your lungs into your bloodstream. From there, they are delivered to every cell in your body. *Through aromatherapy these oils also reach the limbic system of your brain, via the olfactory nerve. This can effect your mood, feelings, memory, hunger, & more.
2. Topically - on your skin. This was a game changer for us! As you apply these oils onto your skin they are quickly absorbed into your bloodstream. Using a carrier oil (such as Olive Oil) helps decrease the sensation some oils can have on the skin.
3. Ingestion - I ONLY recommend Young Living vitality oils when ingesting oils. This can be done in a veggie capsule or a beverage.
